They Are My Kids! is the parent-leadership work of Futures Fulfilled, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Conroe, Texas, built to help families raise capable, life-ready young adults.
The work began with a sentence.
During COVID, parents began standing up to school districts over what was happening — and not happening — in their children’s lives. What they were really saying was simple: They are my kids. Not the district’s. Not the government’s. Mine.
Frank Fornaca heard that clearly. Bill Hampton, his friend of more than forty years, had long carried an idea for a book called Raising Children Capable of Leaving Home. Those two ideas came together. From them grew the book, Futures Fulfilled, and the work you see here.
Children are being shaped every day. The parent is the voice meant to lead that shaping — all the way to the day the child can lead themselves.
They Are My Kids! is not a slogan. It is an invitation to claim the role — and to get the structure and support to do it well.
What we believe
Parents are not secondary in a child’s development. Parents are primary.
That responsibility can be shared. It cannot be outsourced.
They are my kids. I am responsible for raising them, teaching them what matters, and preparing them for a life they will one day lead on their own.
Who we are
We are parents, grandparents, and friends who built a nonprofit around the work we believe matters most. Futures Fulfilled does not exist to profit from a family’s worry. It exists to give parents language, structure, and company — and to say, plainly, that you were always the right person for this.
